Old As Web

A small lab for time, aging and playful software.

Hi, I'm Valentina. I make tiny tools, odd games and quiet essays about time, aging, the old web and the romance of everyday life. Sometimes it's code, sometimes it's a postcard, sometimes it's just a thought that needed somewhere to live.

This is an ongoing experiment: I follow my curiosity with JavaScript, Dart/Flutter, Swift, Godot and Figma, and see what kinds of things want to exist.

Latest postcards

Small daily signals from this universe: tiny notes, loops, images and fragments that don't need an essay, but still want to say hello.

No postcards yet.

Latest essays

Longer pieces about interfaces that grow old, clothes that remember their owners, music as a time machine, and the ways our screens shape our days.

From the lab

Work-in-progress software: small web tools, mobile experiments and quiet games. Some are finished, some are prototypes, all of them are little conversations with time.

About this place

Old As Web is my personal long-term project. There is no master plan, only direction: make kind, strange, long-living things — and document what happens along the way.
